নির্বাচনের জন্য মালয়েশিয়ার পার্লামেন্ট বিলুপ্তির ঘোষণা দিয়েছেন দেশটির প্রধানমন্ত্রী নাজিব রাজ্জাক।
শুক্রবার তিনি এই ঘোসণা দেন।
দেশে ব্যাপক আর্থিক কেলেংকারি ও তার এক সময়ের পরামর্শ দাতা এবং সাবেক নেতা মাহাথির মোহাম্মাদের চ্যালেঞ্জের কারণে এই নির্বাচন হবে তার ক্ষমতাসিন জোটের জন্য কঠিন পরীক্ষা। খবর এএফপি’র।
রাষ্ট্রীয় টেলিভিশনে নাজিব বলেন, আমি দেশবাসীকে অবহিত করছি যে ৭ এপ্রিল শনিবার পার্লামেন্ট ভেঙ্গে দেয়ার জন্য আমি রাজার সঙ্গে সাক্ষাত করে তার অনুমতি চেয়েছি।
